About the project
My journey with fragrance
My name is Alexander. My journey with fragrance began in 2011.
For me, it is a way of discovering oneself through attentive observation of aroma: how it unfolds, how our perception changes and what happens within us in those moments. Fragrance becomes a tool for this observation, an invitation to pause and listen inwardly.
This approach is at the heart of The Way of Fragrance.
Fragrance and Stillness
I choose subtle, multifaceted and refined aromas that help bring harmony to a space and a sense of Stillness.
I value a gentle aromatic presence that leaves room for attention, calm and inner work.
What I collect
My main interest is agarwood, also known as oud, and kyara, one of its rarest and most highly prized forms.
My personal collection includes over 200 specimens of agarwood and kyara, of both plantation and wild origin. They offer different aromatic characters, nuances and ways of unfolding that I continue to explore.
The collection also includes sandalwood, musk, ambergris, Taihang Mountain thuja, Himalayan cedar, as well as natural incense and oils. Each material reveals its own character and offers a distinctive encounter with fragrance.
Rare collector-grade specimens hold a special place: materials for careful long-term keeping and special ceremonies where subtlety and depth of aromatic expression matter.
Natural materials at the heart
I offer only natural aromatic materials. The collection contains no incense or oils with synthetic fragrances. Preserving the individual character of the wood, oil and other natural ingredients is important to me.
