Produced in September 2022 from old Mysore sandalwood, this oil uses supercritical extraction to capture a dense, highly concentrated expression of the material. Its multilayered profile opens with balsamic woods and gradually becomes smoother and creamier.
Warm nuances of dried fruit, oriental spice, caramel and milk unfold around the sandalwood core. The slow development and lasting base make it especially suited to contemplative smelling and natural perfumery.
Use sparingly as a personal aroma, during meditation or aromatherapy, or as a base note in perfume and properly diluted body-care blends. For topical use, dilute first and perform a patch test. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep tightly closed in a cool, dark place; Mysore sandalwood oils are valued for becoming softer and more integrated as they mature.
