S-94 is a Grade AAA incense made from Hong Kong agarwood derived from Aquilaria sinensis, the incense tree closely connected with Hong Kong’s aromatic heritage. Its profile is soft, elegant and deep, with natural wood and balsamic resin at the centre of the composition.
The opening brings warm, dry wood with a delicate trace of sweet smoke and incense. The heart unfolds with smooth balsamic resins, gaining depth and warmth as the stick smoulders. In the base, subtle natural sweetness recalls wild honey and dried fruit. The finish remains clean and composed, without the pronounced animalic or leathery facets found in some darker oud profiles.
Hong Kong literally means “Fragrant Harbour”. One widely accepted account connects the name with the historic cultivation and trade of incense-tree products in the region. Place one stick in a stable, heat-resistant incense holder, light the tip and gently extinguish the flame so it smoulders. Burn only in a ventilated space, never leave unattended, and keep away from children, pets and flammable materials.
